I am using RH 8 HTML, and would like to have this very simple banner appear across the top of my topics when I publish to HTML:

Currently, I create this banner simply by typing the text in my topics and applying a style.
I would like to use the same topics to generate a PDF, but I do not want this banner to appear across all my topics. How can I do this?
After some initial confusion regarding how to apply the tag, I was able to get this to work – thank you so much!

You could create a Snippet in Rh, apply inline styling to it and then insert the snippet in those topics where it is required.
Then apply a conditional tag when you insert the snippet so that it can be excluded from printed output when you generate the PDF. By default there is a Print tag in Rh projects so you could use that.

Good morning Peter –
Thank you for the suggestion – I will give this a try and see how it goes!
Thanks again,

Hi Peter - I cannot figure out how to apply a conditional build tag to the snippet. When I right-click on the snippet, the menu options are:

But when I select Properties, the dialog box does NOT give any options to apply a conditional build tag. What am I doing wrong?

Insert the snippet in a topic and then apply the tag there. You have to apply it each time you add it to a topic. The tag is not applied to the snippet in the snippet pod.
