It can be done that way but I would recommend zipping the
folder and apply a filename such as YYMMDD_projectname_source, then
placing that zip file on the network so that it gets backed up. The
date is in that format so that it will be in chronological order
over different years.
While you can copy across drives, we have seen issues with
that, zipping is safer.
I repeat my previous warning that saving projects within
Program Files is not good practice.
