How do I edit a TOC that was originally generated from framemaker but we are no longer importing fil

I apologize in advance as I am a beginning robohelp user. We had a framemaker file and we pulled it into Robohelp. The toc generated pretty well. But, for a number of reasons, mostly pertaining to the way robohelp was destroying images imported from framemaker, we are now just editing the files in robohelp. I added a few items that I want to show up in the webpro output in the left navigation but I cannot figure out how to do it. I'm sure whoever decided to tackle this will need more specifics but it seems every tech writer I know does not use robohelp. So, help...robos, wherever you are...

Hi there

The TOC in RoboHelp is just a file. Basically you open the TOC editor as the first step. Usually it's tucked inside a folder icon for the TOC in your Project Manager. Just click the plus symbol or double-click the Table of Contents folder. Then double-click the actual TOC to open the TOC editor.

From here you insert, delete or rearrange Books and Pages as you wish. One simple way to add elements to the TOC is to drag topics from either the Project Manager or the Topic List into the TOC Ed

Hi mizlandry and welcome to the RH community.

Have you added the new topics to the TOC or are you after information on how to get the RH source output to the desired location. Either way, can you let us know which version of RH you are using.

To create a Book, you may use icons across the top of the TOC editor or you may right-click inside the TOC editor.

Hopefully this helps. If you need more, just ask!

Cheers... Rick

Thanks for the info. I ended up figuring it out, but at the time, it just perplexed me.
