I got a api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll missing error when I installed a trial version of RoboHelp 2015, how do I fix this?

This is not something I have ever seen reported for RoboHelp but a quick Google suggests that Windows needs to be updated. See this link which covers the same problem with another app.
