How to create a new button location on a skin?

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of the TCS and thanks to Rick's skinny on skins have a layout

produced for Web Help, but I want to move a feedback email button to below

the company logo if possible. It seems to be fairly straight forward to change the order of the

buttons, i.e. TOC, Index, Search and any custom buttons such as print, but I can't

seem to be able to move the feedback button to anywhere else.

If you have suggestions as to a better placement that's also good, but in the

previous online html for this manual  it was located just below the logo on the top

right-hand side.

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Best wishes,

Karen

Hi Karen

One possibility would be to simply construct your button image so it includes the logo. Then you could hijack the button function so that clicking anywhere on it would carry out your desired action.

Just thinking out loud... Rick

Morning Rick,

Good idea, but I like the idea of the logo image that I have linking to the company website,

while providing users with the ability to provide feedback via a separate button about individual

topics, if I can accomplish this...

Thanks again for your help.

Best wishes,

Karen
