Hello all,

How do you open Responsive HTML5 output on Android and iOS? I'm able to generate the output and open it in an Internet browser on a PC, but I can't find the procedure to open it on a mobile device.

So far I copied the generated Responsive_HTML5 folder to a mobile device, and tried to open the index.htm file but this results in a blank help.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

To open it from a device, the contents of the output must be on a web server.Where are you pointing the device browser?See www.grainge.org for RoboHelp and Authoring information @petergrainge

If you want to install it on a mobile device, you need to create an APK

file. It's quite a learning curve. See my site and the supplied sample

projects.

Otherwise you point the devices browsers to a server with the HTML output.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm not trying to install the output as mobile app. I just want to open it from a mobile web browser but I don't know to which file the browser must be pointed.

For instance, I downloaded the example project about employee care from your site. How do I display the output correctly on a mobile device? Do I go to the !SSL! folder and try to open the home.htm topic?

Thanks,

David

I put the output on a server and pointed the browser to index.htm.

It works fine now, thanks.
