Image size in Word output

Hi All,

I've a project through which I'm generating Word output in RH 2022. I have applied thumbnails to the images that exceed 1300 px in size. In Word output, the same image is falling outside the page. How to control this behavior in Word output? Do I need to manually adjust in Word or is there any option to control it?

I have added a comment as the issue is not related to thumbnails. All thumbnails are ignored when generating to Word and the full size image is used. If that image is in a <p> tag then RoboHelp resizes it to fit. The issue is the full size image is not getting resized to fit if it is in a list.

I need to check but I'm pretty sure the logic is that thumbnails are for online only and in Word outputs you get the full size image. That said and without testing, I thought issues with the full size of an image fitting the page had been fixed.

Does the same image work OK if in a normal paragraph rather than a list?

Yes @Peter Grainge , this problem is with the bullet list images. It works very well with the normal paragraph.

I think you will have to report that as a bug. It looks like they fixed it for normal paragraphs but not elsewhere. Tables also have issues.

Meantime I think you will have to reduce the size of your images. In Word note the width available in a list and set the maximum to that. The alternative is different sized images.
