I made a short video for my RoboHelp topic and inserted it as MP4. After publishing the project, the video is not loading. Is there a specific format to upload video? I used inset>multimedia. Is there another way to do it properly?

Thanks

Have you confirmed the video does actually exist where you published to?

What version of RoboHelp? If 2019, is it the new beast or the classic?

Yes. The video exists and functional on its own. It is RoboHelp Classic 2019

All patched up? Any browser effect at play here? Does it make any difference if it's local or on a webserver?

Sooo, how exactly is the video placed in the topic? Have you tried ensuring the URL you use to play it on its own is the same URL that is referencing the video that plays all by itself?

When I did a preview of the WebHelp pro publication, here is what I saw:

"The Plugin is not supported"

Is MPEG4 format not supported by RoboHelp? If so, which is the best video format?

RoboHelp should not be dependent on any specific format. Especially if generating to a web based output such as WebHelp Pro. Are you running RoboHelp Server? That's the only reason to use WebHelp Pro.

Are you able to just link directly to the video and see it play?
