Infinite loop in image conversion

New Here ,
Mar 04, 2010 Mar 04, 2010

I have downloaded and am evaluating the trial version of RoboHelp 8.  I started a new project, imported an existing Word document, and tried converting it to WebHelp.  It processed the document and converted all the images to bitmaps, and then came back to one image (the tenth) and started an infinite loop creating additional copies of the image.  I tried deleting that image in the Word document and creating a new project, but it did the same thing again, this time starting an infinite loop creating additional copies of the ninth image.  Has this behavior been observed before?  Is there a fix?

Thanks,

Dave Rawlins

Hi Dave

First time I've ever heard of it. But then again, I haven't used RoboHelp for Word since the last century.

Question for you here. If you are wanting WebHelp output, why RoboHelp for Word and not RoboHelp HTML?

Cheers... Rick
