Hello all,
I was just wondering: my FM book is linked to RH. Is it possible to exclude a file from an FM book from being brought over to RH?

Hi Sue.
I assume you are linking from a FM file rather than importing one. If so, perhaps you could just delete the reference to the FM file in the Project Manager. If you do this, any updates are not applied the next time you update your RH project. However if you want the file to be updates in some scenarios, perhaps use a conditional build tag to the folder containing the FM file.

Have you tried using the Exclude feature in FM (within the book)?

Thanks for the responses! Wouldn't the Exclude feature also exclude the file for my PDF (Which I create from FM).
I guess the only way to do this is using conditional text.
I will try that.

Or you could just maintain 2 books - one for printed output, one for integration into RH. That's what I do.
