I've been asked if our help files are WebDav Compliant. We are using Robohelp Classic 2019 and generating Responsive HTML output. Our IT department and Service Desk want to integrate their service desk software with our help files, but they've said the platform needs to be WebDav compliant. I did a search on the forums and found this question asked a couple of times many years ago, but there were no answers. Can anyone help?

Hi,
What do you mean by WebDAV compliance? Responsive HTML5 output is W3C and 508 compliant.
Please elaborate your use case so that we can help you.

Sorry, I have no idea. I've just been asked the question. Is there not a simple answer then. Is WebDav compliance not a thing?

Hi,
WebDAV is mainly used for remote authoring. I don't understand it's context here.
Please ask your IT person about the requirement and let us know.

Hi,
Remote authoring means users can create, change and move files on a Server from a remote location.
Please post here once you hear from your IT person.
