Issues checking in .pss file

Guest

I am working with another author on a RH 8 project.  We've found that we are able to check out and check

in files through the RoboHelp starter page which takes us to version control without any issues.  We are also

able to work simultaneously, as long as we are working on different topics within the RH project.

The only issue that we are running into is when we go to check in our work/files, we notice that the .pss file

isn't checking in with the rest of the files.  We've found a temporary workaround, which is to to directly

into RoboSource and check the .pss file in there.  But this adds a two-step process that we'd like to avoid

if possible...

Is there a reason why this (.pss) file might not be checking in the first time with the rest of the topics?

thanks,

Rachel

Rachel, RH intentionally keeps the .cpd, .hhp, .ldb, and .pss files out of source control (they are machine- and language-specific files that should not be shared among users.

Good luck,

Leon
