Keyword links

Any clue where Adobe hides the information describing how you do this? Or is this something you're supposed to intuit?

It sounds like something I might want to do - IF I can find out exactly how it works and how to implement it!! The help is, I swear, WORTHLESS. Nothing in the help addresses Keyword links, a search sorta tells me what it is, but gives NO information as to how I (or anyone else) go about doing it.

And, she grumbled, I thought Blue Sky's/eHelp's help was worthless.

Thanks!

Jo

PS: Yes, I'm exasperated! How can you tell?

Hi there

What kind of keyword links? See Also?

If that's what you want, the process is pretty straightforward.

  1. Define See Also keyword(s)
  2. Associate topics
  3. Insert See Also control(s) in topic(s) that point to the keyword(s).

Cheers... Rick

Hi, Rick,

There was a post  you, I think, made about a week ago on the HATT list, said something about using keyword links instead of bookmarks so the link would jump to that spot in the topic (instead of at the top of the page, I think). It sounded like a really cool idea and I'd like to use it.

Assuming, of course, I understood your post correctly. It's quite possible I haven't a clue as to what I'm talking about. That's only happened once or twice in my life. But only once or twice....

Jo
