Linking to pdf files

New Here ,
Aug 21, 2008 Aug 21, 2008
I am adding several links to a modified page in Design View. The links are to pdf files. However, when I generate the file, the link isn't active. Is there a preferred method for going about what should be a simple process?

Have you added the pdf files to the Baggage Files folder?

Good luck,
Leon

Hi all

Keep in mind that if you are testing locally off your C drive and you have enabled the "Mark Of The Web" (MOTW) links to PDF and Word document files will not work.

Cheers... Rick

Rick, does RH x5 have MOTW? If so, where can I find it to make sure I do not have it enabled?

I have my pdf in my baggage files and still cannot get my links to work.

I just posted my code, prior to seeing this thread.

Thanks.

Rob

X5 does not have Mark of the Web.

Cannot get your links to work where? Locally, on a server...

Neither local or server. I posted a separate note (before finding this thread). I included the code.

Thanks!
