Links not working after updating from RH8 to RH 11

New Here ,
Mar 12, 2014 Mar 12, 2014

I have updated a .hpj RH 8 project to RH 11 html but I am having a lot of  trouble with  most of the links. For example, most of the links in my Table of Contents, in the Index and in the topics themselves do not work.... I have looked on the forum but haven't found anyone yet with the same problem.. Thanks so much for your help!

Just an update.

Have just tested Madcap Flare 10 trial version and imported existing CHM file and it is working like a treat.  No missing topic links in TOC.  Chrome browser issue not happening and topic properties have not changed so I don't have to re-do my context sensitive configuration in our system (this last one is a big plus).

But hopefully the RH 11 issue that I encountered will be resolved so I don't have to learn to use another authoring tool for now.

When you converted the RHfW6 project to RH6, was the output ok at that point?

There were topics with missing links but they were fixed using the Resolved Broken Links which I did before upgrading the RH 6 HTML to RH 11.

I don't think it is relevant to the problem but the title of this thread refers to Rh8 but in the posts you refer to Rh6. Which is it?

@Peter - @erskie is a new poster to this thread – they probably should have started their own, esp. with the RHfW to RH conversion step involved.

@erskie – can you share the RH6 project? If so, send me a PM for my e-mail address & I’ll have a look at it.

@Jeff I think they may have started their own thread as there is another one from Erskie.

Thank you all for your responses.

My company has decided to use Madcap Flare 10 as we didn't encounter any issues in the importation and the topic properties on the compiled file have not changed so we don't have to re-do the context sensitive configuration in our system.
