We've upgraded to RH6 and RSC3. Whenever someone tries to
open a project, several things happen which I don't understand, and
which make it difficult to maintain a smooth work flow.
The <project_name>.pss file is checked out, and can
only be checked back in from source control. I have tried hiding
it, and disabling check-out/check-in, but then the program just
hangs and won't continue. I don't believe this a permissions issue,
since the same thing happens for a user with Admin permissions (all
boxes checked) that happens for someone with User level permissions
(checkin/checkout, visible, create access, delete access, set core
properties, move rights, revert right, view history access, alter
own settings, and rename rights).
Additionally, when I look at the files under the File Status
tab, there is a new .apj file, rhvariable.apj that isn't under
source control. I assume this is the file that contains project
information for user defined variables, so I'm not too worried
about this at the moment.
