<RH HTML 9 - CHM file> Slow performance when opening project.

Recently RH 9 runs very slow when I open my project, I even cannot open a folder in the Project Manager pod. I think maybe there are some corrupt files cause it.

Anyone has experience please help me. Thank you.

Because I don't know how to fix it. I brought all htm files, .glo, .hhc, .hhk and images to the previous project without that problem. Then I ran this project but Robohelp still runs slowly. So tired.

How did you bring the files in to the project, via Windows Explorer? If so that will not have helped.

Have you tried deleting the CPD file and then reopening the project?

Is the project on a local drive?

Yes, I renamed the CPD file and reopened the project. I saw that the project auto created another CPD file and the problem is not solved.

Yes, the project is on a local drive.

Can you please answer Peter's other questions (i.e. how you brought the files in and the project's location) and then we will be able to advise further.

The way I brought all files to the previous project by replacing old files with new files and adding more files if the project does not have in Window Explorer.

But now I already solved that problem by creating a new blank project, then I imported all .htm files, .glo, .hhk, .hhc, ... files to this project. I also created corresponding user defined variables manually for it as well. It takes a day to fix some unintended broken links, some conditional build tags within topics are tagged in some wrong places, the master page is not applied to topics...
