I have tried to map a bullet point in RH7 to word 2007. I
have created a dotx file for mapping and mapped in the output page.
When I generate the output the bullet point in RH gets produced in
word completely ignoring the mapping and not producing the bullet
in the dotx style. If I apply the style in the word document then
it appears as I have set it in the dotx. could someone tell me
where I am going wrong.

You are probably not doing anything wrong. Mapping bullet or
number lists to Word is difficult. Look at any Word forum and the
gurus will tell you that such lists in Word haven't worked well
since the days of Word 2.
