First, I presume that you are referring to "RoboSource
Control," not RoboHelp Server, which is a different product.
Yes, you can develop an online project in RoboHelp first, and
then add it to source control later. (RoboSource Control allows one
help project per database.)
If you start the project by dividing the work into three
separate projects, you have two ways you can combine the projects
again:
- Pick one project to be the main project and import topics
from the other two projects. (Then discard the other two projects.)
- Use the RoboHelp mergedProjects feature to combine the
projects. (Do a search in these forums to find more information.
There is a lot of discussion about this.)
If you decide on the mergedProjects solution, you might not
need to use RoboSource Control.
