mouseover help is missing after transitioning from CHM output to Frameless Help output

Hi All,

I am using the RoboHelp 2022.3.93 version. After transitioning from CHM help output to Frameless output, the mouseover help that was working in CHM appears as a link in Frameless but does not work as expected.

Also, could I get a list of reports related to these mouseovers to help identify and resolve them?

Can someone please reply to this post.

Thanks,

Anand

You don't need to ask someone to respond, someone will if they have the answer.

I think you are talking about text popups. These are not a feature of the new versions of RoboHelp. Likely they relied on code that did not meet the strict CSS3 and HTML5 standards of these versions.

Thank you, @Peter Grainge.  We are in the process of transitioning the legacy CHM help that is currently running to several help pages. However, we are finding it difficult to track these text pop-ups that don't contain content after conversion to Frameless, but appear as broken links.

After conducting a sanity check post-conversion, we have been converting any missing content links we come across to expanding text in RoboHelp 2022.

I was about to suggest dropdowns or expanding text as a replacement. 🙂

Maybe a search in your old Classic topics would help find what has broken?
