We are testing out publishing RHX5 output to a server under
RH Server 6 control. It all works OK except in the area of
searching. The search tab says something like "Type your question
and press GO". However natural language searches do not appear to
return the required results.
Am a right in thinking that natural language searching came
in with RH Server 6? If so, I guess the fact that I am using RHX5
output may be causing a problem or two. I have managed to get
around this so far by manually editing the output files to say
something like "Type in the word(s) to search for" but it would be
nice not to have to do this.

Hi Colum
I may be mistaken and stand to be corrected on this, but I
think that version 6 of the server product actually
removed the Natural Language Search capability.
Hopefully John Daigle or someone else can pop in to confirm
or deny this.

Well that would explain why natural language searches come
back with no results! I seem to remember it being added and then
taken out but like you I can't seem to find anything that confirms
this and in which versions.

Natural Language was replaced in version 6. See
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/robohelp/articles/rhserver_06.html The next question is, Why does it still read "Type your
question and press GO". If you type a question you get no results
because it is no longer a natural language search.
