Navigation not Appearing

Explorer ,
Nov 28, 2007 Nov 28, 2007
Hi,

Can anyone help me. I am publishing using flash help on RoboHelp X5 Pro and it has worked without issue for some time. We have decided to set up websites in IIS on all our servers and publish to them all individually rather than through our intranet as some lines to our sites are slow. The prefix would be http://server/documentation. Publishing web help is fine but when I try to publish flash help you can view the navigation and toc etc.

I have tried adding the URL into the global settings in flash player but this has no effect. If I browse to a file path or add a traditional address e.g. http://www.server.com/documentation then it works fine.

This is driving me mad, I really don't want to go back to using WebHelp

Alix-Louise,

See if following this changes anything:

"To publish projects to an IIS HTTP server other than RoboHelp Server, the HTTP server root folder must contain the /scripts/cpshost.dll file. A Windows system does not contain this file, by default. You can download the file from the Microsoft web site." (Issue # 1338237 "Cannot publish WebHelp/FlashHelp through HTTP" on this page of known issues under RH6.)

Let us know how it goes,

Ben

Try looking at this page if your server is Windows 2003 with IIS 6.0.
