Non-breaking space character appearing on icons (only on my homepage)

Community Beginner ,
Sep 26, 2025 Sep 26, 2025

I'm having an issue with the  character displaying over icons on my homepage in my RoboHelp project (2020.8.34). Screenshot below.

I've searched other related threads, but couldn't find one where this was happening only on the icons.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!Help Characters.png

Thanks,

Are you looking at this output on a webserver or locally? Does it make any difference what browser you're using?

Locally, it populates fine without the characters. When deployed to the webserver, the icons appear (both on Chrome and Edge).

Doesn't that suggest a server setting is the issue?

I suspect that the skin encoding is messed up in that older version - see https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/%C3%A2-character-auto-added-to-random-topics-dur... for Stefan's fix.

The skin I'm using appears to have the correct encoding, but will investigate this more.
