If I am right, I think your project is stored within Docs and Settings. Possibly in My RoboHelp Projects.
Try moving it to something like C:\ProjectName.
Also check in your list of printers that you do have a PDF printer installed.

Hi there
In addition to what Peter advised, my own guess as to why they are disabled (grayed out) is probably because you don't have more than one defined? It would make sense that unless more than one of each was present, they would be unavailable.
Now if you *DO* have more than one of each defined, I'm at a loss to explain why they might be presented in a disabled state.

Thank you so much, Peter and Rick!
You are right, Rick, we only have one TOC, Index, and Glossary. What was throwing me off is that on Page 3 of the wizard, I was only seeing a Chapter Layout icon. I thought this was related to the fact that I hadn't been able to select a TOC, Index, and Glossary on Page 1.
Peter, don't know if this topic is worthy of a note in your comprehensive Printed Output article. Hopefully we're not the only ones to have made this error!

I have looked at a number of projects and checked by creating a new project. Those dropdowns are always enabled even when only one TOC exists. Bizarrely you can choose Default TOC etc or ProjectName TOC, in other words they amount to the same thing as there is only one TOC.
Page 3 is where you choose your topics so in addition to TOC (which would be the selected TOC if more than one exists) you can click the dropdown and choose from folders.
Have you tried creating another TOC to see if the disabled dropdown becomes enabled?

You are right, Peter. When I created a second TOC, that drop-down became enabled.
Thanks again,
Kerri
