Page Ranges in Indexes

Community Beginner ,
Dec 18, 2013 Dec 18, 2013

Hello, I have a long document being inported into RH9 from FM10. Many of the index markers in the FM book use <$startrange> and <$endrange> variables, to make page ranges. These show up in RH as unnessesary duplicate entries. Is there a way to set the index to only use one entry for the RH output without destroying my FM index?

Thanks in advance.

Probably should be in the FM Integration forum; anyways, I just checked one of my pagerange index conversions and I only get an extra popup entry for the topic at the beginning of the range & one for the end of the range; nothing in between. As far as I know, there’s no way to control how they appear in RH. If it’s really shortening your RH index, I’d suggest not using the FM index and creating one in RH directly.
