Hi,
I am running an older version of Webhelp (v. X5.0.2 Build 606). I need to password protect our webhelp from competitors. I searched the forum here, and the only related thread I saw was this one: http://forums.adobe.com/message/601406. I am not presently using any .php (and the thread I just referred to didn't indicate that the suggestion made solved the problem). Any other methods I've tried don't seem to get past the SSL directory in the URL.
Can anyone point me to a relatively simple method to accomplish this?
Thank you,
John

Hi John
You might start by talking to your Web Admin folks. They should be able to set your WebHelp folder up so it's behind an authenticated page.
As a side note, you should probably be somewhat careful by posting your email address. Unless, of course, you enjoy seeing unsolicited messages from your dying uncle in Nigeria, offers to magickally grow private body parts or wives from foreign countries and all that.
Cheers... Rick

Thanks Rick, will do.
I posted my email only because I didn't see an automatic notification of reply like I generally see on other forums. But every time I'm contacted by some Nigerian prince that I have some clandestine connection to, they always leave me a gazillion dollars!
