PDF bookmark spaces

I am using RoboHelp 7 but I have had this problem with every version of RoboHelp. I generate a Word file from RH, clean up the Word file and then generate a PDF file from the Word file. Some of the PDF bookmarks have an extra space before the first letter in the bookmark. The Word file looks fine. I do not see an extra space in front of the topic titles. I have also generated PDF files directly from RH. I still see these extra spaces in the PDF bookmarks.

I am using the Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional suite. Anyone ever have this problem?

I can't say I've noticed this but then I'm not a huge PDF user. Just wondering if there are any hidden field codes in the Word document that may provide a clue to what is going on. Turn on the field codes under Tools > Options > View tab.

I experience the same issue, so any thoughts on removing the spaces would be great.

I have found that spaces occur in bookmarks where the paragraph mark is missing in MS Word. If you turn on the field codes as Colum suggested, you can locate the areas where the black 'blob' is missing and remove the page break etc... to ensure the paragraph mark displays.

Hope that helps.
