PDF option not available when generating...

My co-worker and I both have RH8, and only have Acrobat Reader installed. I can select PDF from File->Generate. She cannot. Is there something else installed that would take out this option?

Welcome to the forum.

Is that true of all projects? The PDF option is greyed out if there is no print layout defined.

Open one of the sample projects. Click Open on the RoboHelp Starter page and then click Samples in the ribbon on the left.

We created another project and the PDF option is not available in that one, either. I'm not sure what the problem is. We installed RH on both systems at the same time. For now, we are generating her project to Word, then printing that to a PDF. Not ideal, but it works.

On both machines go the print layout and select both the PDF and Word document options.

Proceed with both machines and report back what happens.
