I want to print my chm with the print-symbol. It´s perfect If I print each topic seperate. But if I want to print "current topic and sub-topics" there are several problems
with missing pictures and wrong font. How can I solve this problem?

Hi there
Ahhh yes. The ages old issue of wanting to commit to paper, that which was designed to appear on screen!
The best way you can accomplish this is to create a PDF version of your help system and provide that to the end user. I would then disable the print icon so it did not appear, then either add a custom icon or TOC entry that pointed to a page with a link to the PDF.

The style issue could potentially be fixed. See snippet 46 on Peter Grainge's site:

Is there a possibility to delete the option "print current topic and sub-topics"?

I doubt it Janine. This is part of the Microsoft HTML Help engine functionality and has nothing to do with RoboHelp or any other HAT.

Hi there
Indeed you may remove the icon from the toolbar by editing the Window properties and ensuring the Print option is clear.

Correct me if I'm wrong Rick but doesn't this just rermove the print button. The context menu item still exists?

Hi Colum
You are correct. There is no way to remove the context menu item. In the image Janine presented, she had highlighted the Print icon in the main toolbar. So I somewhat assumed she meant to ask if it could be removed.
I was responding to what was highlighted in the image presented, as it is easily removed. ![]()
