Dear Adobe Community,
I am writing to report a problem I encountered while using RoboHelp version 2022.0.346 to create a frameless output. The problem is related to linking sections within a page.
I use h2 and h3 tags for the titles of my sections on the page, and they are also displayed in the Mini TOC. However, when I copy the link of a section from the Mini TOC and paste it separately in the browser's address bar, the page crashes and shows an error message. This happens with any section link I try to use.
The pages I create are quite long, so it would be very helpful to have links that will lead directly to the needed section, without having to scroll through the entire page looking for the information. This would also improve the user experience and the accessibility of my content.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this issue and provide me with a solution or a workaround. Is this a known bug or a configuration problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it or avoid it?
Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.
Sincerely,
Anastasiia

Using my own site for reference, I went to this page Embedded Help (grainge.org) and then clicked on one of the mini toc items. The browser went to that heading but, as I expected, it did not change the address.
If you right click an item in the mini toc and Copy Link, you will get something like this. Is that what you mean by Error Message? It is because the link is formulated to work within the open topic rather than from the browser address bar. You didn't say how you are creating the link.
To create links to another topic that go to a specific point, you need bookmarks. You create bookmarks by clicking the cursor where you want it (in this case at the end of the heading) then click the book icon on the toolbar. Type in a name with no spaces. Save the change.
Then in the topic where you want to create the link, you click the Cross Reference / Hyperlink icon. See RH2022 Cross References and Hyperlinks (grainge.org) for how they work. You browse to the topic in the contents panel and expand it so that you select the bookmark.
You can also go to the Contents panel, expand the topic with the bookmark and drag it to the topic where you want the link. How it gets created depends on this setting.
