Published Files do not Display from RH8 Project

I have recently upgraded to RH 8 from RH7. I had lots of problems initially converting my lead project, due to issues within RoboSourceControl 3.1 which corrupted many files making me unable to convert! Having eventually resolved this after much frustration, I have now discovered that locations that are published to will not load the project.

Upon attempting to upload I am getting a Adobe Flash Player message, which I have attached. Even when I have updated the security the files will still not load and I have got as far as it loading without a TOC now but cannot move any further forward?

Are there new rules for RH8 or should something be enabled when publishing. The files in my output folder load without issue but the main test file published to a location locally and on another server do not.

I have not been able to find anything about this online, has anyone else experienced any issues, I really don't want to have to revert to WebHelp at this time.

I am going round in circles!

Hi there

Typically the Flash Player Security dialog will display when you are attempting to view Flash content off the local drive. Once you publish to a server, you should not see the dialog.

Click here for a tutorial on how to deal with the Flash Player Security dialog

Hi Rick,

Thanks for coming back to me, I managed to get it to display by adding a link to the main folder instead of the files it was highlighting, I had the same problem publishing to another server and opening the root file, our live sites are set up with links using IIS so I'll check these but hopefully they won't be affected!

In the mean time I'll have a read of that tutorial and do my homework

Cheers

Alix
