Every now and then when we publish a RoboHelp 2015 project we get the following error message:
Publishing has been cancelled.
The process cannot access the file becdause it is being used by another process.
We do not cancel the publishing, RoboHelp does and it is very discouraging. Why does this message happen and what can we do to stop it from happening again so that we can publish and move onto the next Help File update.
Any help you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks,
Robert

My suspicion is that the location where you're publishing the files to has issues with either rights or files being actively in use when RH is trying to replace them. The only way you can get around that is to ensure no one is accessing them before publishing. One sure way is to delete all the files in the destination & then let the RH publishing process recreate them.
