The title of my cover page and the title of the Table of Contents show up in my table of contents in Robohelp.  Is there a way to make them not show up?

I've been trying to change their headers from h1 to something else, but it won't let me change their header style.

Thanks, seems to be the same problem I had. I did a different work around.

My "Contents" page had a h1 header type and I was somehow able to change it. (I originally wasn't able to change it for some reason).

My cover page has an h1 header type, and I am unable to change it.  Instead of trying to change it, I put a condition tag on that line so that it won't show up.  It seems to work now.

Thanks!

What version of RH? Are you taking about things appearing in the output or in the RH project's content?

Version 2022.2.22.

The Title of the Document and the Table of Contents title show up in the Table of contents output. See image below as example.

Have a look at Peter's site on this "front matter" stuff - https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/toc_index_glossary/toc.htm

Is there a way to omit the front matter from the TOC output? So it doesn't show up?

From what I understand, TOCs that have the Front/Back Matter are for PDF and Word output - are you generating either of those?

I am using a PDF output, but I want to omit the cover page titles and TOC title from the actual TOC output in the pdf document.

Peter's site says both Front and Back Matter are optional - have you tried right-clicking on them to see if some control is exposed to hide them?

I tried the "Hide in output" option in the properties, but had no luck.

Ah, that "hide in output" thing twigged my memory - see this thread - https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/is-hide-in-output-the-same-as-elevator-door-clos...
