REMOVE "Search Input" field?

New Here ,
Jul 16, 2008 Jul 16, 2008
The RoboHelp manual gives directions to click on a non-existent button. Any other method to getting rid of the "Search Input" field? It's redundant (because it already has a search field), and it wastes valuable space at the top of the toolbar.

THANK YOU for your help! I am grateful.

Hi there GoldenPen

Exactly how you turn it off may depend on the RoboFlavor you are using. Are you using RoboHelp HTML or RoboHelp for Word?

If it's RoboHelp HTML, you need to edit the Single Source Layout. If you click through the assorted dialogs you should see the option to turn off the feature. It's called "Search Input field in Toolbar".

Cheers... Rick
