Repurpose/resuse RH Project

Hi all,
I have a compiled xpj that I want to repurpose, meaning I want to keep as-is, but rename it. The app it supports varies per client, so I essentially need to make "copies" of the complete project, but rename it, per client. Have had issues with the Rename function in the past; it overwrites it...

What version of RoboHelp are you using? I ask, because in the last two versions (Adobe RoboHelp 6 and Adobe RoboHelp 7) there is a variable function you might find to be very useful here. This would avoid having any renaming issues.

We are running v. 6 (hope to upgrade to 7 soon; work in the govt subcontract industry, so things move slower than avg corp environment). Thanks for any help you can provide...
