Reset page numbers in printed documents

New Here ,
Apr 23, 2009 Apr 23, 2009

Hi,

I am using RoboHelp HTML v7 in my project. I have several topics as HTML pages in my project, when I am doing Printed Document Output (.doc file) I am using option to generate individual documents for each topic. it generates individual documents but it never reset the page numbers in those output documents and keeps on increasing the page numbers in all documents.

My requirement is page number should be reset in each document.

Thanks,

Nitin

Are you using Individual Docs + Master Doc?

If you are, try deselecting Master Doc. Otherwise I think that is the way a Master Doc works as designed in Word.

I have run a quick test and get the same result. There is nowhere in RH you can change that behaviour. In Word, each document is set by RH to start at a specific page number so your only option is to redo the page numbers in Word.

For individual documents without a master page, I would expect each document to be individual! As such the page numbering should not flow on. I suggest you report this.
