RH 2017 - Multi-tenancy in product and using tags effectively

Finally, there is some clarity on the approach that the product team is going to be taking.

The product will be multi-tenant. So one instance of the product will cater to multiple users. Based on the username the user will see what he has purchased.

For example,

User A has a full license he will see all 5 tabs on the product UI on sign-in.

User B has a limited license he will see 3 tabs on the product UI on sign-in.

The product build is the same/common in this case. It will call a single instance of the Online Help as usual by clicking (?) in the top-right.

In the help output, how can we ensure that User B sees content for only the 3 tabs he supposed to and not the other 2 tabs.

There will be Development team/UI team code changes to call the help URL. Any suggestion on how only relevant pages can be called/conditioned/hidden.

I think the answer is the same as for your question at RH 2017 - Single output with content serving multiple versions and multiple users

Again you can filter the total output and I guess your developers could link the user to a particular filter but that doesn't stop them changing the filter. Same arguments re letting them see what they cannot do and persuading them to go for the full licence.

If it's a case of you not wanting them to know that with super powers in the full licence they could change things they are restricted on with the limited licence, they can only see those things in the help. The restricted licence will not let them do those things.

Otherwise it's two outputs and the developer calling the one required.
