RH 2020 Update 6 - Map IDs when importing content from RH Classic

We have content in RH 2020 where the content was:

  1. Originally written in Framemaker
  2. Imported into RH classic
  3.  The RH classic project upgraded to RH 2020

We have a new RH project where we have basically taken the content from the previous RH project and copied it over to the new one. My question is, What do we do about map IDs? I copied over the map IDs file as well to the new project. So will the map IDs still work in the new project?

I can't give you a definitive answer but if you look in Topic Properties > General and the Map IDs show up correctly there and in Output > Map IDs I would say it is likely.

Did you use markers in the FM content to indicate the CSH MapID in RH? I would expect all those to have been preserved too if you did it that way.

The ids are in the format <a id="CSH_2">.

We are having an issue where we are getting this error when trying to call the html from the software 404error.png
