RH Server on a Web Server

I am wondering whether we can use WebHelp Pro output on a web server. I ask because our company is moving towards using SupportWorks as a portal to all sorts of product information including, faqs, help desk call logs, help files, etc.

SupportWorks is basically just a directory structure residing on a web server so as far as I am concerned we only need WebHelp output. However alongside this project is a push to use the benefits of WebHelp Pro output. Initially it is likely that the help will be installed locally by the company's applications and also made available in the SupportWorks product. However in the longer term the idea is to have the help files solely hosted in SupportWorks on the web server.

Can anyone see any problem / issue with this approach?

My output is Webhelp Pro from RHx5 - my server is a virtual Web Server (Windows 2003 I think).

However, I use RoboEngine and no other additional software packages (i.e. SupportWorks).

My company is looking into options to use Sharepoint 7 as a portal for not only my RoboHelp product information (4400+ files) but other information located in shared drives, etc
