RH stinky about hanging indent styles from MS Word

New Here ,
Oct 07, 2007 Oct 07, 2007
I am using Robohelp V5 to create Web(HTML) output from imported MS Word documents. The problem is that text list bullets and the numbered text, are not translating correctly. I have tried creating new styles based on the MS Word “Bullets and Numbering” format (I inherited the old styles). I have experimented with the with the following both checked or unchecked in various combination:
“Import Options / Apply Robohelp Style Formatting”
“Import Options / Fix Hanging Indents”

I still constantly get output that ignores the hanging indent, placing the number or the bullet to the left with a large gap to the text and then a text wrap that also ignores the indent.
What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. Take a look at the generated HTML code. There are no tabs in HTML such as you need for bullets & numbering and hanging indents. Tabs in Word are converted to spaces in HTML and there is nothing you can do about it (at least, not in RoboHelp for Word).
