RH2020 - Bread crumbs shows file names and not topic titles

Hi,

In my Frameless output generated by using RH 2020, the Breadcrumbs are enabled and they work perfect.

I noticed that it displays the html file name in the breadcrumb and not the topic title.

For example, if the file name is About ABC.html and topic title is Overview of ABC, the breadcrumb displays:

chapter 1 > About ABC

I want it to display

chapter 1 > Overview of ABC

How can we change this to display the topic title?

Hi Tejas,

You can change the Title name in the topic properties option. This title is reflected in Breadcrumbs

Is there confusion between Topic Title and Topic Heading. When you create a topic, the title is the default heading on the page but it could have been changed. I ask as there are normally underscores in file names and none show above.

Right, so going by the above screenshot I want to show:

Chapter 1 > First Topic

in the breadcrumbs. And not the <filename_1>.html

In the example above, "Topic 2" would display in the breadcrumbs, not the filename which is "first_topic-copy.htm".

Can you double-check what the Title field shows for your topic?

What shows is whatever is in Topic Title in Topic Properties as highlighted in @Achal__ screenshot. What is showing in that field?
