Hi,

We have a product online help developed using Frameless skin. On the Welcome page, we have the search bar and the buckets/categories or whatever you call and the user clicks on it to enter the help system.

Is it possible to someway customize the layout in a way where we can add other elements to this welcome page?
For example, above the buckets we want to add some Announcements. Or in the area under the buckets we want to add something. Is that possible?

If by buckets you mean the square boxes, that is just a view of your table of contents when you are using the skin home page.

You can add content below the tiles by specifying a "Home Page" topic in the output preset (the field is in Layout, just under the "Use home page" checkbox.)

I don't think there's any built in way to add content above the tiles. You might be able to inject content in the output using javascript, but that's beyond my capabilities.

I haven't tried it or seen anyone reporting doing so successfully. With that said I believe the method is to add div tags behind the scenes. I would expect the need of someone experienced in web page design.
