RH7 crashing

After some quite normal editing, I published my project and closed RH7. Now, when I open the starter and select my project, RH goes through its normal routine and displays 'Ready' in the status bar , but then blinks a few times and gives me the finger up ("Tell Microsoft about this problem"). I've uninstalled RH7 and reinstalled to no avail. Trying to open the xpj or hhp files gives the same result.

Help much appreciated!!!

Peter: I took a wild guess that the database file might be corrupted. I've had error messages of this type before (though no warning this time). I've just replaced the *.cpd file withb a backup, and it's OK now.
