RH7 Multiple Document Interface; can you avoid it?

With RH7 we got the Multiple Document Interface (MDI). In the Design pod, each topic is now displayed on its own tab, which lets us edit multiple topics concurrently.
This is cool in many situations, but personally I'm starting to get tired of it.
Is there a way to switch MDI off, and get back to the old-school look where you only worked with one topic at a time?

Welcome to the forum.

There is no option to turn it off but I have suggested that as an option. Some tasks are better suited to the opening of one topic closing the previous one.

Thanks for your quick reply, Peter. I've spoken to several collagues who use RH7 and they'd all like to be able to toggle MDI off/on, so I' submitted the feature request right away.
