RH9 HTML Graphics don't resize as in RH8

New Here ,
May 16, 2012 May 16, 2012

When I try to resize all the graphics, using RH9, after the Help has been created, the graphics don't resize properly, as they DID in RH8 HTML.  Any ideas what to do?  Thank you.

Resize them how? Once the help file is created, you're done, aren't you?

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your reply.

No, the way that our RH8 templates were created, you have to go through all the RH output (from files originally created in FrameMaker) and resize every single graphic, and fix every single numbered list!! It is terrible, but that’s what we have to do.

And now in RH9, the graphics just stay very small, and are not resizeable.

Seems like there must be a very much easier solution. The reason we resize every graphic is because RH has made them MUCH smaller (or sometimes MUCH larger) than they should appear in our HELP.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Sincerely,

Bernice

Sounds like either you're not bringing in the optimum sized graphic for online help or you've had the RH Conversion Settings change the size when the FM content is brought into RH. There's been much discussion of this over on the FM Integration forum and on the HATT mailing list lately. Have a look over there & if you don't find any answers, come back and post some more info on your process of getting FM content into RH.

Thank you, Jeff—I’ll look in both those places.

What is HATT mailing list?

Thank you.

Sorry, it's the hatt@yahoogroups.com<mailto:hatt@yahoogroups.com> mailing list - a lot of us help authors subscribe to it along with the Framers mailing list (framerusers.com or framers@lists.frameusers.com<mailto:framers@lists.frameusers.com>)
