RLT files ( rlt*.htm) - What are they and where do they come from?

RH8 with both patches installed. I've got a growing collection of RLT files.  These files are in with the topic files. Can I erase them?  Curious, where do they come from?  Thanks.

They occur when you preview topics and should delete themselves. It is safe to delete them yourself.

If you haven't got any .rlt files that is OK. As Peter said, they are temporary files that are normally automatically deleted after they have fulfilled their usefulness. Occasionally they are left behind but can be safely deleted.
