Robohelp 11 htmp, MP4 on a iPad?

So I cant get a published project to play an MP4 on an ipad?  but works fine on a pc (tested 3 w/browsers).
on the ipad, It shows up as a black square with a "crossed out" play button in the middle.
on any pc, it plays.?

I've tried several different mp4's (h264) ,,, I've even set the size in RH.

Am I missing something?

Not having an iPad to play with, can you play mp4 files on it outside of RH? If you can’t, then that’s the first thing you have to address, I suspect.

thanks for the quick response Jeff,, yes, i can play mp4's on the iPad, that' why i went that route. BUT they will not play embedded in a published RH Responsive HTML5 project.

Have a look around in the HTML5 forum - https://forums.adobe.com/community/robohelp/multiscreen_html5 you’d probably get more responses

How did you embed the MP4 file in the layout? It seems that the iPad is rather picky with video in web pages. You may be interested in the following post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10511006/html5-video-not-working-on-ipad
