I have a project for helpfiles on Robohelp2019 where suddenly the generate option always results in an errror: failed to generate.
Generating from this project always worked in the past, and no changes were made to any of the contents since the last successful generate. The last action in Robohelp was creating a new skin in the 'skins' tab, then trying to generate with the skin (default Azure_blue skin). This resulted in a generate error. After removing the skin again, the error remained. Now the entire project will no longer generate, even though all the settings and content are exactly the same as before.
The loading bar from the generate displays 'copying asset files' right before returning the error.
When checking the log, the last entry is: 'Packaging Microsoft HTML Help...'
Followed by: Error: (it's just blank)
Any ideas as to why Robohelp suddenly decided to no longer generate for this project?
I've since found that the culprit for the error was the 'window settings' that was applied to the output preset. Even though the original 'window settings' wasn't changed in any way, I had to create a new one with exactly the same options as the original and apply it to the output preset to get the output to generate again.
Definitely a bug of some kind.

What patch version of RH2019 are you on & is it Classic or New UI?

New UI, although I believe the project was originally made in the Classic version.

What's your patch version? And what output type are you creating?
