in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Are you using Classic 2019 or New UI?
Can you think of anything that's changed since last time it worked - RH update? Windows update?
Have you tried viewing with different browsers? Or clearing the browser cache?

Hello, I am jumping in; I hope that is OK. I , too, am experiencing this issue. I have the latest versions and updates applied for both RH authoring and RHS. I tried clearing the browser cache. No change...same issue. Any other things to look at or try? Attached is a screen shot ...

@Michelle LG You haven't told us whether that is 2019 Classic or 2019 New UI. Also do you have all updates applied. You should be on 2019.0.14 for either version.
If you need to update, do that first and see if the problem persists. If it does, try a new copy of the skin with a slightly different name.
Please post back. The original poster didn't so we don't know what fixed it for them, that would have helped you.

Hi, Peter. Quick response is most appreciated. I am using the latest with all upgrades: RH 2020 version 2020.8.34 for authoring and RoboHelp Server (RHS) 11.4.0 on a server at our data center.
I will try the skin suggestion and let you know how I fare. Thank you.

Sorry @Michelle LG - you're still behind; latest RH is 2022 patch 2 now.😁
If you generate locally, is the search misbehaving?

Ooops, didn't word that very well...latest patches for RH 2020. Thank you for pointing that out, Jeff. Yes, search still misbehaves when generating and viewing locally.

Did you try the new skin yet?

Hi, Peter. I had some difficulties getting all my files downloaded from OneDrive, but I did generate with a different skin...one of the standard skins, Azure Blue. The search does work ...at least I don't see the error message; however, there is only result...regardless of the search term.

"getting all my files downloaded from OneDrive" - Umm, what's this mean? Is your project located in OneDrive?

Yes.

That's generally not recommended as a "best practice" - you want a folder structure on your local C:\ drive that's in the root like C:\projects\{project_name}\.
We you using OneDrive as a backup location? If so, it's easier to just perform a daily zip of the project folder and copy that up to the cloud folder.

Thank you for that tip, Jeff.
I tried a sample project, and I can search and see multiple results both locally and from the server--functionality works as expected. So, it must be something about my project...outside of the skin?

I just want to confirm that you've tried with a copy of your project completely outside OneDrive because the synchronisation needed for cloud storage, plus network slowness can cause all sorts of problems.

Hello, Amebr. I am working with IT to move my files to a location outside of OneDrive. Downloading from OneDrive is producing some errors so taking a little longer than I had hoped.

To add to the previous comments about OneDrive, I'm not alone in finding that projects do not work well with it. Google Drive seems to work OK as do some others. OneDrive though I have found causes issues and others have reported the same.
Getting your project should be as simple as selecting the root drive in OneDrive on your PC and copying it outside of OneDrive.

All files have been moved to an external D. drive for now. I regenerated and republished all projects to the server. No changes in search results. I have reached out to Adobe support and will update in this thread, once it is resolved.
