RoboHelp 2020.8.43
I have separate master pages for Chapters, Even, and Odd pages for my PDFs.
After generating a PDF, during the review it was discovered that partway through the document, after a Chapter/First Page, the Even/Odd pages were reversed. The wrong master pages were applied for the rest of the chapter. Further along the Even/Odd pages seem to reverse after each Chapter/First page.
In my testing document (attached) the Even and Odd master pages don't even start out on the correct pages.
I entered a support ticket, hopefully it gets looked at and fixed. Bug Ticket
There is no bug, rather it is a design issue, so you need to go back to the bug report and just add that the issue has been found. I believe the issue is planned to be in the next release but you will have to wait and see.
First, the issue. Page numbering starts from the first page, your cover page. Thus this page is correctly numbered.
The other numbers all follow on. The workaround for now for this project would be to make your cover page two pages. That would give a blank page and then

You are assuming it is a bug that would affect all your projects and all users. As I have not seen anyone else report this, that indicates it is more likely to be your project.
What you have done is enter a bug report, not a support request. Bugs get reviewed you need something more immediate and should have gone to Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.
I will set up a simple test later but I think it is something in your set up.
Check you are on the latest update. 2020.8

Even and odd pages are working fine in my test. Can you share the project? If you can, then see the Contact page on my site and send the project as instructed there. Do make sure you include a link to this thread and please do not email the project direct.

Thank you for your response.
I attached a testing PDF to this post, it is a bit crude but the story is in the page numbers at the bottom. My base assumption is that Even Master Pages are used on even numbered pages and Odd Master Pages are used on odd numbered pages with the Chapter Master Pages falling where they may.
I can still send you my testing project if you wouldn't mind.

The PDF attached is of no use in solving the problem, it just shows what it looks like. The issue is why so I would need to see the project.

In other projects you will have to see where the first numbered page comes by default, then adjust when necessary.

Thank you for reviewing the Master Page project.
I was able to apply the fix to some of my documents, adding in the early blank page as you suggested.
I was able to fix some others by selecting the option to have the chapters start on an odd page. Since the program always follows a Chapter master page with an Even master page, that works out.
With the rest of the documents, having to add in blank pages to make sure the correct master page fall on the correct page number, isn't ideal. I am tasked with reducing the white space as much as possible in those docs.
I am going to just leave those for now and hopefully this issue is resolved in the next update.
Thank you again for your time.
